Abdomen
हिंदी: पेट / उदर – छाती और कूल्हे के बीच का हिस्सा जिसमें पाचन अंग होते हैं।
English: The part of the body between the chest and the pelvis, containing the digestive organs.

Abscess
हिंदी: फोड़ा – शरीर के किसी ऊतक या हिस्से में मवाद (Pus) का जमा होना।
English: A confined pocket of pus that collects in tissues, organs, or spaces inside the body.
Acute
हिंदी: तीव्र – ऐसी बीमारी या स्थिति जो अचानक शुरू होती है और गंभीर होती है।
English: A condition or disease that has a rapid onset and a short, severe course.

Anemia
हिंदी: रक्ताल्पता – खून में लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं (RBC) या हीमोग्लोबिन की कमी।
English: A condition in which the blood doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin.
Anesthesia
हिंदी: निश्चेतना – सर्जरी के दौरान दर्द महसूस न होने के लिए शरीर या किसी अंग को सुन्न करना।
English: A way to control pain during a surgery or procedure by using medicines called anesthetics.

Antibiotic
हिंदी: प्रतिजैविक – वह दवा जो बैक्टीरिया के संक्रमण (Infection) को रोकने या खत्म करने के काम आती है।
English: A medicine that inhibits the growth of or destroys microorganisms, especially bacteria.
Artery
हिंदी: धमनी – वह रक्त वाहिका जो हृदय से ऑक्सीजन युक्त शुद्ध खून को शरीर के अंगों तक ले जाती है।
English: A blood vessel that takes oxygen-rich blood away from the heart to all parts of the body.

Atrophy
हिंदी: अपक्षय – मांसपेशियों या शरीर के किसी अंग का धीरे-धीरे कमजोर होकर छोटा हो जाना।
English: The wasting away or reduction in size of a body organ or tissue due to disease or lack of use.

Atom
हिंदी: परमाणु – किसी भी पदार्थ की वह सबसे छोटी इकाई जिसमें उसके रासायनिक गुण मौजूद होते हैं।
English: The smallest unit of an element that maintains the chemical properties of that element.

Amnesia
हिंदी: स्मृति लोप – चोट, बीमारी या मानसिक आघात के कारण याददाश्त का पूरी तरह या आंशिक रूप से चले जाना।
English: A partial or total loss of memory, usually caused by brain injury, shock, or illness.
Antiseptic
हिंदी: रोगाणुरोधक – वह पदार्थ जो सूक्ष्मजीवों की वृद्धि को रोकता है, विशेष रूप से घाव पर लगाने वाली दवा।
English: A substance that stops or slows down the growth of microorganisms on external surfaces of the body.

Axilla
हिंदी: बगल / कांख – कंधे के ठीक नीचे का हिस्सा (Armpit)।
English: The space below the shoulder through which vessels and nerves pass (commonly known as the armpit).

Aorta
हिंदी: महाधमनी – यह शरीर की सबसे बड़ी धमनी है जो हृदय के बाएं हिस्से से शुद्ध खून पूरे शरीर में भेजती है।
English: The main and largest artery in the body, carrying oxygenated blood from the left ventricle of the heart to the rest of the body.
Alveoli
हिंदी: वायु कोष्ठक – फेफड़ों के अंदर छोटे गुब्बारे जैसी संरचनाएं जहाँ ऑक्सीजन और कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड का आदान-प्रदान होता है।
English: Tiny air sacs in the lungs where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place.

Amniotic Fluid
हिंदी: उल्ब तरल – गर्भावस्था के दौरान गर्भाशय में भ्रूण के चारों ओर रहने वाला सुरक्षात्मक तरल पदार्थ।
English: The protective liquid that surrounds the fetus in the uterus during pregnancy.
Arrhythmia
हिंदी: अतालता – हृदय की धड़कन का अनियमित होना (बहुत तेज़, बहुत धीमी या असामान्य लय)।

Autoclave
हिंदी: ऑटोक्लेव – भाप के दबाव का उपयोग करके चिकित्सा उपकरणों और औजारों को कीटाणुमुक्त करने वाली मशीन।

Acid

Ambulatory

हिंदी: एनजाइना – हृदय की मांसपेशियों में खून की कमी के कारण छाती में होने वाला तेज़ दर्द।

Antigen
हिंदी: एंटीजन – कोई भी बाहरी पदार्थ (जैसे वायरस या बैक्टीरिया) जो शरीर के प्रतिरक्षा तंत्र को सक्रिय करता है।

Aphasia

Asepsis

Ascites

Anorexia

Antipyretic

Atrium
